Pune, 24th May 2024: Triumph Motorcycles – the pioneer of Modern Classic Motorcycles, has just concluded the 11th edition of The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride (DGR) 2024 in India. For the 11th consecutive year, Triumph riders embarked on rides across the nation, spreading awareness for prostate cancer research and men’s mental health.

This year, more than 4400+ riders participated in the DGR. 39 Triumph showrooms in 32 cities facilitated the rides. Keeping consistency with the unique aspect of the ride – the riders came out dressed dapper on their Modern Classic and Classic motorcycles, to raise funds and increase awareness about prostate cancer research and men’s mental health.

Around the world, the DGR 2024 was a resounding success, with more than 112,000 riders riding side by side. This demonstrates the increasing awareness of men’s health and an elevated sense of support for the issues addressed through the ride. Since its inception, the foundation has raised more than $52.17M USD worldwide.

This event underscores the importance of coming together as a community to support organizations that make a difference in our lives. DGR 2024 is a stellar example of how collective action can make a profound difference in awareness about lesser-discussed topics like men’s health.

The event marks a remarkable eleven years of partnership between DGR and Triumph, a testament to the strength and unity of the community. This partnership is not just a continuation of a great success story, but also a commitment to raising awareness of important issues and fostering engagement among riders. A diverse range of classic and Modern Classic motorcycles from the Triumph stable were part of the DGR, each rider making a statement with their unique style.

The riders dressing their stylish best for the DGR, gives them a chance to express their individuality, while making the DGR a unique, one-on-a-kind ride. Dressing up also adds to the celebratory atmosphere, and creates a sense of camaraderie among the participants, fostering a feeling of community and shared purpose.

Triumph Motorcycles has awarded the Top 3 Fundraisers and Gentlefolk Prize Winners globally. Each will receive a brand new Modern Classic Triumph motorcycle. This has been a tradition for 11 years now.

Talking about the ride, Sumeet Narang, President, Pro-Biking (Bajaj Auto Ltd.), said: “We are thrilled with the overwhelming response to DGR 2024 India. The growth in participation is a testament to the growing awareness about men's health issues and the impactful role such events can play. Our community of riders has grown in record numbers, a testament to the growing Triumph tribe, consisting of like-minded gentlefolk with a penchant for the finer things in life, including their motorcycles. The partnership between Triumph and DGR is a natural fit, as they both represent iconicity, understated elegance, and performance. The unprecedented success of the Speed 400 and the Scrambler 400x has allowed a whole new generation of Triumph riders into the community. We're going to grow from strength to strength. Here's to another year of speed, celebration, awareness, camaraderie, and the unstoppable quest for the perfect ride that Triumph so effortlessly and wholeheartedly embodies."

The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride was founded in Sydney, Australia, in 2012 by Mark Hawwa.
