New Triumph Tiger 900 Raises The Bar For Middleweight Adventure Bikes

Delivering more power, torque, capability and comfort, the new Tiger 900 range from Triumph Motorcycles is raising the bar for middleweight adventure bikes in 2024. The new line-up includes the Tiger 900 GT, and Rally Pro, each providing a significant step-up in performance and specification.

The Tiger 900’s trademark three-cylinder engine has received a major update, including revised engine components, which provides 13% more power than the previous generation, giving 108PS of peak power and a higher peak torque of 90Nm. The new engine also offers greater tractability lower in the rev range. With its T-plane crank and offset firing intervals, the Tiger 900 maintains its characterful and distinctive performance and sound, as well as achieving enhanced performance throughout the whole rev range and up to 9% better fuel economy.

The new range retains all of the Tiger 900’s class-leading specification:

New Triumph Stealth Editions

A collection of five new modern classics, the Stealth Limited Editions showcase a dramatic new custom-style paint finish that adds a contemporary twist to Triumph’s iconic design DNA. Each model features its own unique tank design, which showcases a dramatic hand-painted finish that intensifies in the light to reveal vivid colour.

The process starts with a base layer of mirror-finish metallic ‘Silver Ice’ being applied to each tank, followed by a precisely placed dark to light ‘Sapphire Black’ graphite vignette. Finally, a translucent tinted lacquer is applied in multiple layers, to build a deep and rich top coat.

The transition from dark tinted graphite to vibrant colour, springs to life when exposed to light, varying in hue and tone under different conditions and appearing different from every angle. The hand-painted finish ensures subtle variations, making every motorcycle truly unique.

Pricing for the Triumph Stealth Editions represents great value for fans of custom style.

Speaking at the launch at India Bike Week 2023, Mr. Sumeet Narang, President – Probiking Business Unit, Bajaj Auto India, expressed "This is truly a moment of celebration for the Triumph community as we complete a successful, decade-long run in India. This decade of success truly embodies Triumph's spirit of excellence, keeping every rider at the core. On this special occasion, we are thrilled to present the Tiger 900 and Triumph Stealth Editions at the India Bike Week to the riding community. The Tiger 900 already has an excellent reputation as an award-winner and rally competitor. With such an impressive pedigree, we needed to set ourselves a high target to improve the new Tiger 900. We were focused on all over again. As a result, we’ve raised the game in the middleweight category, with more performance, more capability, more all-day comfort, and an aggressive style and poise. The Stealth Editions are simply stunning, and a brilliant demonstration of the skill and innovation of our paint team. It is a challenging, hand-crafted technique that gives each motorcycle a sophisticated and unique finish. For fans of our Bonnevilles, these Stealth Limited Editions will be hard to resist. Together, as we celebrate Triumph's 10th anniversary in India, we look forward to many more years fuelling the passion & obsession for ‘THE PERFECT RIDE’
