Pune, August 18th, 2022: KTM, the world’s #1 & India’s fastest growing premium motorcycle brand, conducted a special Independence Day ride in 111 towns across India to celebrate 75 years of Indian Independence. Over 2200 KTM riders participated in this event. Each city like Delhi, Hyderabad, Bangalore & Mumbai had over 150 riders participating in the ride.
At the destination, the lead riders for each ride were felicitated. Also, KTM owners who had taken up & won challenges through the KTM India app were awarded certificates for their commendable contribution to the community. The KTM India App features the KTM Pro-XP section, an in-app community of KTM owners. With this, KTM owners get to record their trips, take up challenges, discuss in groups, share their experiences & so on. Top 50 contributors to the KTM App were also felicitated.
KTM Pro-XP is a riding and community engagement program that offers a range of professional riding experiences across Trail, Track and Tarmac for KTM owners to hone their riding skills to a pro-level. From high altitude rides on the Himalayas to thrilling tarmac rides around the city, there is a wide range of rides to learn from and enjoy.
Speaking on the occasion Sumeet Narang, President (Probiking) at Bajaj Auto Ltd. said “The KTM Pro-XP platform is designed to help our owners discover their true biking potential. It is also a great opportunity to meet like-minded KTM riders and learn from each other as a community. Usually, every 3rd Sunday of the month, our dealers organise “Urban Escapes” - short day rides to interesting destinations. We rode out together on this special occasion of 75 years of Indian Independence this time.”
The KTM Urban Escapes are conducted every 3rd Sunday of the month and interested owners can visit their nearest showroom to express their interest and be a part of the next edition of the Urban Escapes.
